Phase 1:

This phase has three distinct components: (1) Inspecting the facility, (2) identifying the pests and (3) evaluating the risks. Inspection involves detecting and identifying sanitation issues and structural conditions that are conducive to pests. Identification involves classifying the pests and examining the severity of the infestation. Evaluation includes assessing the risks causes by infestation based on the type of facility, geographic location and climate.

Formulating a Customized Pest Control Plan:

A customized plan is formulated based on the results of the assessment. This plan focuses on a structured method that involves removing the pests in a humane and eco-friendly manner & taking preventive measures so that the pests do not return in the future. The entire process is planned and executed in accordance with health and public safety regulations, and all other legal requirements.



Phase 2:


In this phase, the pest control plan is implemented with focus on (1) pest removal, (2) prevention of future infestation and (3) safety and sanity issues. Implementation begins with removing the pests by either extermination using various methods (in the case of insects, bugs and smaller rodents) or capture and relocation (in the case of larger animals, such as raccoons and squirrels). After the pests have been removes, preventive measures are taken, such as installing electric fences, to prevent the pests from returning. Due importance is given to safety and sanitation during and after the removal.


Phase 3:

Monitoring: This is a perpetual phase that involves monitoring the facility for signs of pest infestation and conditions conducive to pests. The idea is to nip the problem in the bud. For example, if signs of termite infestation are detected, immediate action is taken to eradicate the threat before significant damage can be made.

Documentation:  Every plan needs to be documented so that the right decisions can be taken in the future based on the information generated during the current plan. The documentation will also serve as the basis for pest control plans to be formulated for other facilities run by the company.
